This prayer will help you overcome depression and set you free by the power of God!  Depression is, no doubt, more than a natural condition.  Depression is a weapon that Satan uses to hinder and defeat God’s people.  In a depressed state, you lose hope, joy, and purpose for living.  You become vulnerable and an easy target for Satan to destroy.  

 

What you need to know is that God doesn’t want you to live a depressed life.  He wants you to be filled with tremendous peace and overwhelming joy.  Depression is the work of the devil.  You cannot sit passively and let Satan destroy your life. You must fight for your freedom and deliverance!  It’s time to take charge of your life!  Follow these simple instructions and pray this prayer.  Darkness will flee from your life and the light of Christ will begin to shine through you!  You will be set free in Jesus' Name!

  

Instructions:

• Confess all your sins to God, He is faithful and ready to forgive you. 

•  Make it right with every person you have sinned against.

•  Eradicate all bitterness and unforgiveness from your life.

•  Pray this prayer until you are completely free.

•  Pray this prayer in faith and repeat it verbally (not just in your mind).

•  Share your testimony of healing and deliverance with as many people.

•  Help someone who is going through depression by sharing this prayer with them.

 

Today, I (your name) call upon the God who created the heavens and the earth.  The One who gave life and purpose to all mankind!  The One who is stronger than the strongest, mightier than the mightiest, and higher than the highest.

 

Lord, I surrender to You my entire being — spirit, soul, and body.  I do not belong to myself, I am all Yours today.  Take charge of my life and my future.  Be my Lord, my Savior, and my Master!

 

For I am resolutely determined to fight with courage and boldness for my deliverance and to defeat every spiritual foe warring against my soul, by the power of Jesus Christ!

 

I (your name) declare the blood of Jesus Christ over my past, present, and future.  Blood of Jesus, wash and cleanse my mind, my thoughts, my understanding, my heart, my words, and my actions from every evil.  Cleanse me thoroughly and completely, right now, in Jesus’ Name!

 

I (your name) declare that “No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned!”  For this is my heritage as a servant of God.  “I will not die but I will live and declare the works of the Lord.”

 

I defeat all spirits of depression that are projected against my life, to steal from me, to kill me, and to destroy me.  I order all wicked spirits out of my life and close the doors to all evil powers, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ!

 

Every power of witchcraft is nullified right now, by the blood of Jesus Christ!  I uproot and destroy all satanic forces against my life.  I overcome the spirit of depression and conquer every power of darkness, sent to hinder and destroy me, by the blood of Jesus Christ!

 

The kingdom of darkness is demolished.  Satan has lost the battle for my soul.  I disconnect from all demonic powers.  The chains of darkness are broken over my life, in Jesus’ Name!

 

I (your name) am now free from the crown of my head to the soul of my feet, in Jesus’ Name!  I refuse to be sad, lonely, frustrated, miserable, hopeless, and depressed!  I am now being replenished supernaturally with life, love, joy, and peace, by the power of Christ!

I will never be the same again.  My mind is renewed.  My joy is restored.  My health is revitalized.  I am strengthened.  I am empowered.  I am purposeful.  I am successful.  I am confident.  I am happy.  I am loved, in Jesus’ Holy Name!

 

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for all You have done and will continue to do in my life.  I will praise You all the days of my life.  I praise and thank You for my deliverance.  I rejoice in You for my healing.  I praise You for wholeness.  I thank You for everything, in Jesus’ name!  I love You!  Amen!
